Play Time with Diana, Ashley, Herita, Stephen and Me!

Over Christmas break…. yeah I know it’s taken me a bit to post these… The five us spent a day together putting together these images. we had a blast. Herita Jones from Cosmetic Face Design handled the hair and makeup, Diana and Ashley donated their time modeling, while Stephen Thrift and I came up with lighting in my studio and locations for the rest. What fun enjoy!

The Shoe’s of Brides

All these shoes were nice and clean when I photographed them with brides, grooms, and the wedding party soon to be wearing them or having worn them. Below is a group of images of shoes that I have compiled from this years weddings. I hope you enjoy!

2010 Moving Forward

This year has been a transition for me. I have set aside my career in Information Technology and started pursuing my dream of being a photographer. I have started off taking baby steps with a few weddings of my own. I have reached out to associate photographers and other vendors through local venues and channels. I would like to thank Abigail Seymour for helping me ignite the fuel toward moving forward. I would like to thank Jamie Gilliam and Gale Galloway with the Triad’s Perfect Wedding Guide for their continued support to the Triad’s Wedding Industry. I would like to thank Cari Chee, Hooman Bahrani, Traci Arney, and Mike Micciche for their continued support. Most of all I would like to thank Jonathan McCardell, Renee McCardell, Becki Dickinson, Stephen Thrift, and Renee Sprink for taking me under their wings as a Second Shooter.

In the upcoming months I will be displaying images from the weddings that I have covered as a second shooter. As a second shooter my requirements were to cover details and candid, which honestly is my favorite part of covering a wedding. In my upcoming blogs I plan to isolate these details into groups the first being shoes. Yup, that’s right shoes… who knew I would take an interest in covering them. It seems that there is a wide variety of shoes that brides wear and I enjoyed composing each set of them. I plan to post this within the next week or so.

Following the bridal shoes blog I will be covering details, cakes and desserts, etc. and then closing out the year with the brides that I am able to share.
